Lecante's Project, a Return to Freud, Is a Psychoanalytic Thinker
Lacon was a second or third generation psychoanalytic thinker. He thought subsequent psychoanalysts had lost touch with these things that i had just mentioned, unconscious death, drive and the importance of sexuality. Lacon also introduces the importance of the social order into thinking about psychoanalysis in a way that froud didn't. E stresses that with his concept of the big other, which is basically a hedeger's idea of the they or dosman.
