I think of my childhood as, you know, my parents were very social and they were sort of quite glamorous in their way. And it was interesting that their lives changed later and they became quite quiet homebody types. But yeah, my father was always a book reader and he still is. He steered me towards the beats, not just because he liked those books, but because he felt that was a good entry point,. You know, that stuff's fairly inclusive, I guess. It's easy to read and there's no... I don't know. Those aren't the worst impulses in the world, right? Not at all, not at all.
