The Existential Threat to Oil Production

There's no place to put the oil, but what we can do is make that somebody else's problem. By selling forward in the futures market, we lock in our price. We know damn well that when we deliver it, there's going to be nobody who's got a tank. But the thing is, contractually, it's not our problem anymore. It's somebody else's Problem.
