Your Brain Is the Time Machine

Storie is not story structure. It's plot structure. And the story is not about the plot. The storyis about how the plot affects the protagonist, and is driven by that internal consequence That causes ta protagonist to see it differently and then take action. If you come up with just a plot, you're going to end up with nothing but a bunther bunch of things that happen. When you're lost in a story, you really are lost in that protagonist's world. They're your avitar. You are that person. Story is the world's first virtual reality.
