How Often Can a Malignancy Be Diagnosed Based on Pericardial Effusion and Cytology of That Effusion?

The patient had diffuse, intra-abdominal, mediastinal and cervical lymphadenopathy. This pattern of really bulky lymphadenopathy is making me pretty concerned for some sort of malignancy going on. The only other thing I'll mention is like the lymphocytic nature of the fluid, I think argues against a pygienic bacterial infection. So maybe that pushes us more towards malignancy at this point, but I guess we'll have to see.
