The Cost of Immigration

This is a collection of short stories, all of which have something to do with the immigrant experience. Why did you want it to be about immigration? I'll be completely honest. The minute I landed in Philadelphia International Airport, at the immigration counter, I saw an officer and they were saying something to me and I was really struggling to understand what they were saying. Immediately, I had a sense that I've made the biggest mistake of my life. It's not because I feel like I can't survive or adapt in America because I can. You're right. It ends one version of you and then creates another version in a sense.
