How to Sailing Upwind

Sailing upwind was an apt metaphor for, you know, to try to capture how I made it through my career. He had wanted to fly the F-14 ever since he saw it as a kid in Virginia Beach. It helped me get through college because I actually knew what I wanted to do when I graduated rather than kind of not having a clue. And ended up going on a Top Gun as a student and came back as an instructor.
