The Default Response Is to Jump in and Help
I love that idea that the default response is to jump in and help. And it's only when we get in our own way or overthink it that we don't, we don't sort of obey that default response. So maybe what it takes is just learning how to train more of that default response and getting better at that. I think you're totally right. Everybody wants to feel like they are capable of providing for their neighbors and their families and being able to be there in times of an emergency.
