How to Stop Blaming Yourself When a Man Wants to Stop Talking to You?

i saw myself being in a relationship with him. He said he likes me as a person, but he doesn't have romantic desires and doesn't want to lead me on. I know i'm not supposed to be vested in this nigger, cause i've only known him for a little while. My question is, how can i stop blaming myself when a person wants to stop talking to me? Please help.
