The bank of england has never been politically independent. Its remit is set politically welland for years, when it undershot the inflation target, amd the tory politicians just sat back and said, oh, well, n not much we can do about that. And i think a single target of two adinflation at a time when you got double digit inflation is making the bank high interest rate in a destructive manner. It's something because theyre being idologicalr an eletist, that theyae, they have begun to do.
