Sally Kohn: In your chapter on virtue signaling, you reminded me of Ellen DeGeneres talking about her friendship with George W. Bush and saying, look, this just goes to show that we should all try to be kind to each other even if we disagree. Kohn: For some reason, because they're not Americans who died, it doesn't really matter.
