The Importance of Putting Off a Dream

I love the idea of being outside of my comfort zone and immersed in a different culture. My question is, what are your thoughts on putting off a dream until later in life? I can still go overseas for trips, but I wouldn't be able to live abroad for quite a while if I continue on my current path. You know, it doesn't matter where you are in life, you could can grow up and you can still go over the seas or you could take, you take a kid with you. Any advice would be amazing.
