There shouldn't be any guiding concept of no offence. It should just be, don't go out of your way to say something horrible. If you slip up and use the wrong preferred pronoun for someone of a different gender then that's not inherently offence. But obviously, if you're starting to sling racial slurs at someone, then chances are you did that purposely. And i also want to add, especially among the younger generations these days, that some people might have possibly re defined what offence means to them.
