There are ways around this so if the app that you're playing music from on your phone is not apple's music app it won't do hand off mode. The home pod is never taking over the session it's always streaming it from the phone and so it's always rock solve reliably. All i want is a checkbox in the home pod settings to always make this the behavior so that it will not try to hand off music app playback, he says.
