Is Consciousness the Driving Cause of a Person's Actions?

In nitha's view, motive intent and the experience of free choice is not actually the driving cause of a person's actions. He outlines it in human alto human, we go even further and cease to give to the particular motive the predicate good or evil. The motive grows out of him as a plant grows out of the earth. We make man responsible, in turn, for the effects of his actions, then for hisactions, then his motives, and finally, his nature. But the issue is that a man doesn't choose his nature. As schopenhauer wrote, a man wills what he wills, but does not choose what he wills.
