The Future of FATF Evaluations
FATF has been focusing on effectiveness since 2012-2013 we haven't yet completed one round of evaluations and there has been improvement through the current round so I would expect that we will continue to see improvements in the next round but that it will continue to be slow. It will continue to lag behind the appetite and the desire for change particularly in the private sector where most countries are failing dismally in their FATF assessments.
