The Significance of the Real
We look at the grass and we know it's green. We've been socialized in such a way as to see only green. But for the un, I guess, unsocialized eye, there are myriad other colors going on within the grass that we often just don't think of. The signified is as much determined by the signifier,. at least how it relates to a kind of ordering system to a type of structure.
