I don't see why, in principle, you couldn't build a neural network that has like these kind of continuous values. And there is a level at which that's true, which is, there's a spike train. But my point is, it's still an underlying analogue dimension. I do sort of feel that it is not the efficient way to do it tat we're going to end up a case where we have systems that have analogue, continuous chunks and digital computation overlayed on them.
