What Kinds of Meals Did You Cook?

I was brought up in land in the seventies, and what we did was always based round something. We would do things. Ie, could rear our own beef, and my grandfather had a small farm with what he used to rear pigs. It was a very catholic country then, and always potatoes. And some kind of vegetable, which was always organic. They just either grew their own, or it was from somebody local that would grow,. My mother would buy from them in bulk.
