The Four Fundamental Concepts of Psychoanalysis
Lacan chose drive instead of desire as the fourth fundamental concept of psychoanalysis. The logic of Lacan is structural, and that comes through very clearly at the start of 14. We could probably split it a little bit and say that you have Lac relevant to desire and probably loss relative to drive but we don't need to get into that now.
