The Global Climate Coalition, It's Not Global and It Won't Work

Fossil fuel industry was deeply entrenched in the process of Kyoto. They worked with Senators Chuck Hagel and Robert Bird to bake that idea into a resolution governing whether or not the United States could ratify Kyoto. The restrictions of the Kyoto agreement apply only to 38 countries of the developed world, no provision for participation of even more developed of the rest of the world.
