The Failure of the Sanders Campaign

I think it's largely a reflection of a lack of left organization in the state. The people who were hired by the Sanders campaign were generally, you know, quote unquote, like progressive democratic party people that weren't really interested in the project of the left. I mean, effectively the democratic party has more powerful pole in society and in politics, right? Yeah. There are enough people in the states on the left who are interested in building an independent power center outside of the democratic party. And there are really optimistic signs in some places like New York City DSA is very impressive in what it's done at like a local level,. But it's certainly not happening on a national scale.
