Is There Room for Wonder or Awe?

Having the system be perfected is far more important, as you say, than it is actually living dynamically. I think there's a reason every religious tradition eventually develops a mystical strain. The idea that we have it all worked out works directly against the reality that we cannot have had it all working out.
