Sally Kohn: Democrats are enamored with social contract theory. She says FDR latched on to something old, dressed it up in new clothes and trotted it out. If we're really a contractual nation, which yields necessarily majority rule, she says, groups like this suffering more progressively as the years go by.Kohn: It's about what I would expect. Surprising that people accept it so uncritically, but not surprising that part of our population accepts it with open arms.
