Why God Can't Use Dreams and Nightmares to Achieve Soul Building

Justin claims that the soul destroying nature of herenous evils leads us to expect god to prevent them. He then says that god could have used dreams and nightmares to achieve soul building. I find this response wholly unconvincing. There is simply not enough evidence to support jusson's claim that herenus evils are actually soul destroying. The number of badness on sames that are consistent with the fostering of saints is tiny in comparison to all the kinds of badness there are. So far from being surprising, on theism, the evidence of evil actually confirms theism over naturalism. Given my first and second arguments, soul building renders the data at least as expected
