What Are Warrants?
Warrants are like options. They have essentially the same economics. An option is something that is quoted and traded on an exchange, such as, for instance, the urics exchange or the c m e. A warrant is an option that is wrapped into a note or paper that's issued by a bank. So weare talking about a bank, such as,. say, no hs b c or city bank or goldman, issuing a warrant. That is essentially the key difference.
