The Making of Music Recommendation Algorithms
Timothy Stanley: My book focuses so much on the makers or the in the making of these music recommendation algorithms. And I think as well, one of the things your book does really good is to show that like the product the technology has politics, but also the people who make the technologies have politics. He says it's a thing that anthropologists sort of always have to deal with in these ethnographies where we want to be talking about big social phenomena. Stanley: We have a kind of obligation to get there through local situations.
