I'm glad I don't have to worry about the things you do, Marsh says. You're always thinking why you're doing this interview and it helps up because I work in a programme that's ultimately about public service. Did you see any of David Dimbleby's films about the BBC recently? They were quite good. He did three days that shook the BBC presented by DavidDimbleby. Now we're in a climate where probably that wouldn't have happened. There were huge protests at the time about the BBC letting Nick Griffin of the BNP appear on question time. It was very much an example of the platform also being a gallows.
