Donnie's Pinned in Between the Dumpster and His Car

Donnie is taking out one last bag of trash before he drove home. He tells me I'm good to go then the last I see of him, he's standing in front of his car opening up the store's dumpster. Monday morning I drive into work to see that it's closed. Donnie would always open up earlier than I'd arrived so I figured something weird had happened for him not to have shown up. But that was just the thing. Donnie had never left. It messed with my head for the longest time after because if I'd have left just a minute or so later I'd have been able to save him.
