The Buddha's Idea of Karma in Buddhism

Buddhist notion of karma is agent-centered rather than act-centered. It operates within the current lifetime and not only in relation to rebirth process. In many places, karma is equated with Chetina or volition or will. Action becomes primarily mental thing as opposed to simply physical action.
