Dry Bulk - Is China Really Doing Well?

There is an interesting parallel in 2009 through 2011, where sort of the developed world was still stuck in a recession, very slowly reopening. And yet China was doing quite well. The dry bulk rates from 2009 to 2011 were actually pretty good. This time around the balance sheets are all extremely clean and the order book is 6%, which is a modern history low. It's never been below 6% since going back to the 90s.
