The PAPU canon looks back at the last time a sitting president was primaryed. In 1992, George H.W. Bush faced off against then-New Hampshire Gov. Bill Clinton in New Hampshire's first presidential primary. Hillary Clinton won that race by just over 2 million votes; she went on to win the White House.
