Dionysius's Divine Names
Dionysius: God is single and one, yet has many different effects by which we name him. This stress on divine simplicity and unity might cause us to raise an eyebrow - especially given that we were just looking at the capidotians. Dionysius frequently reminds us that by revealing something of God, such names tempt us to believe that God is being revealed fully. And of course, Dionysius' final word on the subject of divine names is to use no words at all.
