Chris Hedges has spent many years teaching English or writing in prisons. He's written an entire book actually that just came out I think last year, maybe the year before on the prison system in the US. The middle class is shrinking and for a huge portion of the population, life is very unfair because of choices made by those at the top in our heavily capitalist system.
