i went to columbia university, and we plugged my nervous system into the interlect as part of the experiment. My brain signals were transmitted across the internet and out on to a robot hand. It opens up a whole different way of operating in the world. For me, i am an optimist, and i can see how we can use technology like this to help all sorts of people.
