Using the Library Plug Attack
The library plug attack was written expressly for this problem of throttling bad requests coming in. The blog post walks you through how to do this, some debugging problems I had when setting it up and how to, you know, make sure everything is working correctly. If you are at all interested in credential stuffing, it's very useful for preventing this problem. It wouldn't negate all the benefits, but it might reduce some of them because now you can have like 10, nine requests times two over 60 seconds. Right.
