The Case of Cheryl Vanishing From a Gas Station
Otis Tule and Henry Lee Lucas are well known as likely patsies for dozens of previously unsolved murders. The only case of its kind occurred at the Rhodes Pump Your Own gas station, in April of 1979. Cheryl was a pretty tall slim redhead whom easily could have been cast as a distressed damsel from grimy flicks like Texas Chainsaw Massacre or Friday the 13th. She had been working the pumps alone on a day shift when she vanished from just off road.
