Is There a Two Party System?
The current two party system didn't come about until decades after the country 's founding, n the 18 sixties. George washington warned against partisanship on his way out. John adams called political parties and evil across the land. There's nothing in our constitution as nothing par to do with parties. We have no law that has anything to do he they're made up. But if you look around the world, we are just about unique and anomalous in having this dis functional two party system.
