The Prevalence and Use of Alternative Medicine
About 50% of people use complementary alternative medicine as per regional data in India. More than 70% actually have used it at some point in their lifetime. Dr Eeske: There is very poorly regulated supplements industry in herbal and, you know, herbal mineral medications ongoing in India. I think it is important that people understand informed health choices so that we can prevent this avoidable health burden.
