Are reform churches more or somehow uniquely inclined to tolerate or even celebrate spiritual abuse? This is really an interesting question. My book was generically about what we might call evangelical churches, although certainly it was obvious. But I think we all have to be honest that there is a factor in some reform cultures that's problematic in this regard. RTS has been honest about it in the sense that we've emphasized being winsomly reformed because we recognize that problem.
