Shelley tegelsky was diagnosed with a chronic disease that left her temporarily blind. She began teaching meditation to friends on the beach and it grew into hundreds of people who called themselves the sand tribe. This fierce devotion to elevating others led her to post a simple form on line in the early days of the pandemic, connecting s in need with those who wanted help. That form went wildly viral, becoming a global mutual aid movement that eventually became called the pandemic of love.
