The European dimension of Indo-Pacific security 2022 has been all about Ukraine. Will they continue to see security primarily as a regional and continental basis or are they starting now to think about having to engage more actively in different parts of the globe? I think Europe broadly needs to understand a little better where the US thinking is on this bearing in mind that the primacy of the US as a European security actor so really understanding what the US wants to achieve globally is probably a sensible point for the Europeans to do.
