The expression, if you will, apparently is a short form for if you will allow this analogy. So the examples that you were mentioning are not per se, sacrosanct. Other people would probably use other examples. And so as I mentioned it at the very beginning, you are using like an analogy to explain something, but it's just for the sake of explaining something to make it clear.
