The Pederasty of Philip II of Macedon
Philip II of Macedon had court designs as well, but also male lovers too. It's the ancient Greek pederasty, which you do see with Sparta and Athens. And we get this idea of an older man and a younger adolescent boy who's known as the beloved. We hear in the sources of Philip II having at least two potentially three of these figures - one of whom is actually involved in his assassination.
