The Importance of Hope in the Middle of the World

There have been some really important milestones in our history as well as ones that aren't known about as much. PEPFAR saved literally millions of lives, probably 10 to 20 million lives in Africa. The Violence Against Women Act first passed when I was working for Sam Brownback and his co-sponsor was Paul Wellstone. It's a campaign to try to help the church understand the place of liberal democracy.
