Painters used to have this thing that, i think it's like a mirror that was painted black,. And they used to look at that to refresh their eyes. I sik, i wish sometimes i had a way to sort of refresh that sort of instinct. You are your own apparatus, right? Like how things are gong to play on you, becomes this piece you create.
