How to Read the Meditations
There is a general agreement amongst people, even philosophers, that we all have a soul. But mind and soul do not mean the same thing nowadays. So I prefer to stick to Descartes and call the mind a soul. That's what he's talking about. He's talking about the soul. Now I'm going to lay out a vast, hominurgical, propitutic to what I want to do,. which actually contains the elements of my argument. A lot of what I say depends on these points. Okay. So what are the meditations? And I'll just go ahead and maybe i'll stop for a second to see where I am. The words have changed.
