Blake: I like functional programming for me is the pinnacle of what I've done in programming for probably like almost three decades now or something. It took a long time for me to kind of get it from a traditional Java background. He says Haskell, at least from that side of his experience in Scala, was always seen as like the golden standard for functional programming. Blake: Historically, God, there's a lot to unpack him what you've just said. We don't write languages for the sake of style but because we want them to be easy on humans.
