I'm amazed at how few staff in general, and I don't mean to be my school, haven't gone to see other schools. It drives me absolutely potty when the default answer is no. There's so much evidence-informed practice out there now, techniques and ideas that you're not really taking that much of a risk, are you? But as those sort of educators say, just come and see it, stop laying into us on Twitter and criticising things, justCome and see it. And I think it's good to take risks and to try things out. But it's also good when you're taking those risks to think about what might go wrong and put contingencies
