How Did You Grow Up Deaf?
I was raised orally. The oral method is basically lip reading and speaking versus signing and not using speech at all. I probably functioned more like a hard of hearing person even though on paper the scores were just horrible. My family was very, it wasn't something we ever talked about. It was just what was there. We just went on with life.
